What is SwitchTake?
LIVE VIDEO EDITING / WHILE YOU RECORD

SwitchTake is a video (pre)editng system that allows you save time by making video edits while you film.

HOW DOES IT WORK?

RECORD & EDIT
While recording your video, use the SwitchTake mobile app or voice commands. When you make a good take, set a checkpoint. If you make a mistake or want to cut out a section swipe down on the app or say "Switch Cut"

PROCESS & IMPORT
After recording, open your videos with the SwitchTake sequencer PC/Mac application to import your rough cut sequence directly into your video editor.

START EDITING
Start editing with a rough cut sequence. Mistakes, bad takes and dead space removed. Good takes marked and ready to go.

Open SwitchTake Sequencer on your computer.  SwitchTake will analyze your edits and create rough-cut sequences

Import pre-cut sequences into your video editing software.  Premier Pro, Davinci Resolve &F inal Cut Pro

BUILD YOUR TIMELINE AS YOU RECORD

  • Swipe or Use Voice command to set checkpoint
  • Keep or cut from the last checkpoint
  • Swipe UP / "Switch In"
  • Swipe Down / "Switch Cut"

SwitchTake Sequencer / Generate (pre)Edited Timeline

Use SwitchTake Sequencer (PC/Mac) to create your (pre)edited sequence that you can import directly into Premiere Pro, Davinci Resolve or Final Cut Pro.  Your clips will be organized with all the bad takes and dead space removed.
